![]() I have a lot of songs in there produced with Famitracker. While the touch screen could handle instruments etc. The d-pad and the buttons could handle the sequencer. So I think it would fit really good (Much better than having Sunvox or Milkytracker on my 5.5 inch phone at least). I like that FXX/GXX work on MIDI PB signals in OpenMPT, but that was the only win for me, and in Renoise you can automate PB with the MIDI control machine anyway. The N3DSXL upper screen is 4.9 inch and the lower screen is 4.2. ![]() At the top of each column you see the channel names: Pulse 1, Pulse 2, Triangle, Noise, and DPCM. I used to use OpenMPT, and switched to Buzz because I dont like VSTs, they are usually very inefficient. be played at, and apply various effects to the generated sound. I've heard amazing songs come from Milky, but Famitracker is great, too, if you know what you're doing.Īlso, here's my Soundcloud. I dont use it for writing legacy modules, so its got everything I need. I think Milkytracker is a step up from people who know a lot about Famitracker. ![]() I don't know how to use a wide range of things except for drawing sounds, controlling volume, and loading samples, but I've made one very short song on Milky. Me and my best friends try to teach each other how to use Famitracker, which is good too. Milkytracker appears to be quite close to what Ive been looking for of late with how many channels it can hold at once, and how many instruments you can juggle in one channel (something Famitracker cant do, to my knowledge ). ![]() Also, Anamanaguchi released a raw form of one of their songs and I learned how to make different types of sounds from that. Then it's usually possible to just copy the sounds and use them in your own tunes. If you have files with chip music then you can probably just open them in any normal sample based tracker (Modplug, milkytracker, madtracker etc). MilkyTracker’s website has now been moved over to GitHub Pages alongside the source code, so that it’s easier to update and so that we don’t risk losing access to it any more. The first couple of times, I didn't know what I was doing so I would just stare at the my screen until I decided I had no idea.Īfter a week or two, I found some videos on youtube that taught me how to use some stuff. Other trackers are using samples, while Famitracker is generating those automatically. I've made a couple of songs using Famitracker. ![]()
